Code of Conduct

Red Feather Inn’s Code of Conduct calls for reasonable standards of behaviour from guests, visitors and staff to ensure everyone experiences safe and equal enjoyment of the facilities onsite.

Although the code does not explicitly cover every possible situation, it is a strong general statement on the standards of behaviour(s) that are expected whilst at Red Feather Inn.

  • Guests and staff shall behave appropriately and with discretion at all time, respectful of other staff members, visitors and guests and also neighbours of the estate.

  • Drunkenness, fighting, abusive or obscene language or suggestions, unwelcome advances or physical contact directed at staff or guests will not be tolerated. Red Feather Inn has a zero tolerance towards discrimination of any kind, harassment and / or bullying.

  • Parking is restricted to specific areas onsite as signposted or directed by Inn Management. Parking and driving on grass is prohibited and loading / unloading is limited to 10 minutes.

  • Smoking, vaping and use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited inside any building at Red Feather Inn, within 3 metres of entry / exit to a building and / or within 3 metres of outdoor dining areas. The use of recreational drugs at Red Feather Inn is strictly prohibited.

  • Red Feather Inn implements measures of safety from the principles of the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) program. Alcohol service will be conducted in accordance with Tasmanian law.

Reservations

All prices quoted are per room, per night, including GST. Price includes accommodation in a double room or cottage.

Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email from Red Feather Inn.

We are a child-free property (with the exclusion of cottages). All guests must be over 18 years of age.

Cancellation

We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect you against unexpected changes to travel plans. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, we do require notification in writing via email.

  • A full refund will be provided where such notification is received by us 7 days or more prior to the booked arrival date.

  • Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival will forfeit 100% of the payment made.

Payment

We will charge your provided credit card the total cost of your booking 7 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX.

Payments will show on your statements as paid to "RFIQ Pty Ltd".

Red Feather Inn is cashless, and therefore we do not accept cash payments.

Security

When purchasing from Red Feather Inn, card details are transmitted through a secure server using Direct Payment Services. Card data is not hosted by Red Feather Inn after processing.

Consumer Data Privacy

Red Feather Inn is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your booking, and to provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable). Cookies sent to your computer from Red Feather Inn only last while you're browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer.
